Beauty, Passed Forward

Ten percent of all profits support charitable causes, allowing every piece to leave an impact beyond the woman who wears it.

The Beginning

It began with the belt that didn’t exist.

When Deborah’s eldest daughter became engaged, the dress was found. The finishing piece was not. So Deborah created it herself. One belt became another, and a private instinct became deborah drattell New York.

Craftsmanship

Every detail earns its place.

Each belt begins with carefully selected leather, cut and finished by hand. Edges are meticulously beveled, while sculptural hardware and rich embellishments bring depth and distinction. Every curve and fastening is considered for how it looks and how it lives on the body.

The Women Behind The Names

Named for women who were never meant to disappear.

Each design takes its name from an opera heroine—a woman remembered for the force of her voice, the depth of her story, or her refusal to become a background character in someone else’s.

Worn into the world

And then, they were
everywhere.
